HUNDREDS of people gathered for good food, dancing and song at two big events for older people.

The Just Good Friends events held at King George’s Hall in Blackburn and Derwent Hall in Darwen saw more than 300 people enjoy good company and entertainment.

The music came courtesy of locally-based acts including singer Joyce Kearton from Pleasington, Blackburn duo The Remedy and the Recycled Wrens.
