Peter Kay on stage in the costume
Comedian Peter Kay told the Queen his Beefeater stage costume for last night's Jubilee concert had been made in East Lancashire.
The comedian had the costume, which he wore on stage and later when he met the Queen, specially made for the occasion.
"She said, 'Where did you get it?'. I had it made for £100, in Rawtenstall.
"It was an amazing event. It was surreal - like a big posh school play."
