CHIPSTEAD U17 32
Chipstead bounced back from their defeat by leaders Cranleigh by thrashing bottom side Rosslyn Park.
Chipstead started brightly, keeping the ball within the tight pack to minimise the effect of the slippery conditions. After 10 minutes, the home side put up their first points, courtesy of a Sam Mills penalty.
After half an hour, scrum-half Ricky Adams nipped under the posts to score the first try to make it 8-0 at half time. Prop Ben Woods added another try soon after the break and after another few minutes, centre Elliott Bhana polished of a neat back move.
The latter try was converted by Mills to give Chipstead a 20 point lead.
Two more tries were tallied up towards the end of the game. The first was from flanker Alex Elbrow and was converted by Mills.
Captain Phil Aslett rounded off the performance with a pick up from the base of the scrum to leave the final score at 32-0.
This result leaves Chipstead lying third in the Surrey U17 Junior League Two behind Cranleigh and Camberley.
Chipstead are at Richmond in a cup tie this Sunday (2pm) and their next league game is at Dorking on February 18 (11am).
