Young people enjoying sport, others putting on costumes to take part in an Easter pageant and regulars at their Padiham local getting all dressed up for a trip out.
Were the wizards setting off for a day out to check out some other hostelries or, with a name like that, maybe taking part in an inter pub quiz or snooker competition?
Our fourth image shows staff of Walker Steel, in Blackburn, built up by Jack Walker into the the largest steel stockholder in Britain. Maybe you recognise some of the faces here from among your old friends and family 30 years or so ago.
