READER Tony Leecy was the first to wheel out the right answer to last week's quiz, which showed the former Greyhound Garage in Whalley Road, in Hyndburn.
But it caused another puzzle, because what is its correct address? It's listed as at Whalley Road, Accrington, but look at a map and it appears to be in Altham West, while some readers argued it's proximity to Clayton-le-Moors...
The car dealer then had a petrol forecourt and an old Ford Zephyr is just pulling away; the image must be pre- 1963, as its registration number had no prefix, which was introduced that year.
Who remembers there was also a garage almost opposite on the other side of the main road?
