IT is getting to the season of fairs and carnivals, so we have taken a trip down memory lane looking at one in Blackburn in 1952.
You cannot help but be amazed by hordes of people standing waiting to get near the attractions.
Then in the background you can see Billy Williams’ Big Wheel which was flanked by the booths that specialised in freak shows such as Fat Man and Lady.
It is changed times as people now wear baseball caps instead of the hats of yesteryear.
