BOSSES at Blackburn Innovation Centre are considering extending into Fusion House next door.
Developers St Modwen have unveiled plans for the centre at Evolution Park, off Haslingden Road, which celebrated its two year anniversary last month.
The centre was opened to service the needs of growing local enterprises in the medical and technology sectors, and was fully occupied nine months after its launch.
Michelle Taylor, St Modwen regional director, said: “We were delighted the centre filled up so quickly and that our relationship with the medical sector, especially through our links with NHS Blackburn with Darwen and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, has become so strong.
“Our first two years have been extremely successful, and we hope the focus on the medical and knowledge sector in Blackburn continues to grow.
“We are currently progressing proposals to extend into the adjacent Fusion House, and we expect more businesses in the industry to relocate there.”
