A total of 55 chocolate eggs have been handed over to Community CVS and were gifted to children at the charity’s VOICE family breakfast club on Easter Sunday.

The group provides a safe environment for local families and helps them access support to deal with a variety of issues.

Karen Reid, chartered legal executive at Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall Solicitors, said: “We’re all dedicated to supporting the local community, and while WHN has been backing similar initiatives for a number of years, it’s the first year we’ve thrown our weight behind Community CVS as part of our Easter giving campaign.

“The charity is at the heart of the local community, helping bring families together and benefiting Blackburn’s most vulnerable. It’s run solely by volunteers and relies heavily on the support of local businesses, so we were really keen to rally up support and extend a hand.

“The donation means that these children had the Easter they deserve.”
