Burnley firm awarded TrustMark status

A BURNLEY company is celebrating after being awarded TrustMark status.
Solar panel firm Solarlec has been approved by the government-backed scheme where accredited companies sign up to a consumer code of practice to guarantee they have the right insurance, good health and safety practices and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Solarlec director Ged Rowbottom said: “We understand that solar panels are a substantial purchase for all of our customers.
“And horror stories about cowboy builders can scare people out of what can be a safe and highly lucrative investment in the hands of the right company.
"With this in mind, we sought to gain TrustMark status to give our customers confidence.”
