VIDEO: Your votes needed to help Lancashire firm win business mentoring from Dragons' Den star

YOUR votes are needed to help a Lancashire business win a national competition that could see it receive mentoring from Dragon’s Den star Deborah Meaden.

Source Science is a not-for-profit company promoting astronomy, space exploration, conservation and climate change awareness through innovative outreach programmes.

And it has made it to the final 12 companies in the Local Business Accelerators competition – but needs your votes to be crowned the winner.

Launched by the local newspaper industry in October and backed by high profile figures including David Cameron, and the CBI’s John Cridland, LBA attracted entries from more than 3,000 businesses. Newspapers selected their own local winners who were rewarded with a free advertising campaign in their local newspaper and mentoring from local business leaders appointed by the title.

Now, the campaign enters the national phase as the 12 shortlisted businesses compete to be crowned overall LBA winner and receive the grand prize of mentoring from Ms Meaden and an ad campaign designed by a top London agency. Go to the LBA website to place your vote!
