LEO'S Carpets, Preston Old Road, Cherry Tree, has fallen into administration.
Market conditions, which have placed significant pressure on the firm’s cash flow, have been blamed for causing the closure and the loss of 41 jobs.
Phil Duffy of Manchester-based MCR Corporate Restructuring, which has been appointed to handle to administration, said: “The firm has experienced financial difficulties ... but it is a good business with potential.
"We are looking to sell it as a going concern.”
