A REGIONAL property developer now building in East Lancashire has sold its entire portfolio of commercial premises to focus on its residential operation.

Prospect GB, which has projects in Clitheroe and Gisburn, has relinquished all its commercial developments in Liverpool, Chester and Sheffield as it looks to expand its housebuilding activities across the North West.

Prospect Homes is preparing to build a wide range of spacious and luxurious homes in Clitheroe at the Rose Gardens development.

Enjoying an attractive setting off Woone Lane, Rose Gardens will feature 81 properties comprising a variety of bungalows, semi-detached, mews and detached homes.

Sales and marketing director Christine Kynaston said: “Prospect Homes continue to grow our presence in Lancashire with another major new development at Rose Gardens.”

A range of mews, semi-detached and detached new homes is available in Gisburn following the launch of the Strawberry Fields development.

Prospect Homes, established in 2000, is the residential arm of Prospect GB and is based in Speke.

Neil Waddington, managing director, said: “We are pleased to announce Prospect GB is focusing its energy on increasing the delivery of new homes to achieve our long-term strategy of sustained growth.

“A business deal has taken place under which a suitable buyer has purchased all the commercial office space which belonged to Prospect GB, allowing the company to focus on purchasing land and bringing forward much-needed residential developments.”
