A FLOOD hit video production company has bounced back with a business award nomination.

Bigtank Video Productions 'lost everything' when their Rawtenstall base was flooded over Christmas in 2015.

Heavy rain and strong winds from Hurricane Abigail caused major damage across the Rossendale Valley and East Lancashire that year.

The firm relocated to new premises in Blackburn 13months ago and managing director Rob Hallam said the move gave the firm a fresh start.

He said: "The floods of 2015 were awful, everything we had was lost. It was devastating, but we picked ourselves up and moved to Blackburn which has been fantastic for us."

The company, which produces promotional videos for websites and social media, has reached the final four in race for the Hive Creative and Digital Award.

Mr Hallam said: "To be alongside companies like Square Cactus for this award is an absolute privilege.

"The award nomination has really rounded off a good year for us, we cannot wait for the ceremony."

Founded in 2005 the firm does work for businesses big and small and has produced videos and promotional films that have produced outstanding results for companies including Slater and Gordon Lawyers, Golden Eagle Luxury Trains and the NHS.
