Had to go to Accrington last week to meet up with Dennis Taylor and his colleagues Janet and Nick from the Lancashire Economic Partnership.
Shop names is this blog theme.
I went passed the Filling Station and Get Stuffed, both butty shops.

I've sometimes taken a bacon butty early morning off my pal Ian Forrest at his shop off Eanam.
But I've also been past Crumbz in Clayton-le-Moors and the Raveners in Darwen.
Clayton also has Tit Bits, but I make no further comment.
There was always Rumbletums in Clitheroe to grab a bite. And there's a Mega Bite in Burnley!
Travelling through the Cotswolds a few years ago we came across an antique shop - Junk & Disorderly - while somewhere in Yorkshire a taxi firm called Inti-Cabs.
But you can always rely on hairdressers to be "original".
I go to Beth at Permutations. But you could go to: Ahead of Time, Carol of Sweeny Todds, A Cut Above, Hackers, Hairlines, Hairforce, Hairs & Graces, Laurel & Hardys Barber Shop, Mop Headz, Purple Curl, Streakers.
My favourite, perhaps, as I left the BRI many years ago post-vasectomy, was Snippers!
Bed companies certainly dream up some good names. Then there's Swindells for Oaths!

Dear Bill T.,
Many thanks for your courtesy of replying today.
HMS Spartan was a cruiser, built at Vickers and launched in 1942, but lost with many casualties off Anzio in January, 1944, after being hit midships by a Fritz X Flying Bomb, causing huge damage. A full "write-up" of her is to be found under HMS Spartan (6th ship of this name) on the Net.
As regards Mr Hogg, my playing contact at Barrow RLFC is out training tonight (extra ??) (or so he's told his wife that, anyway,) so I can't pursue this any further this evening, but hope to make progress tomorrow down at Craven Park, and will post to you via LET directly.
Best Wishes
Max T.
