I was whizzing along the M6 Toll Road the other day and passed one of the very large blue signs just as some workmen had finished attaching to it a far smaller yellow sign.
The yellow sign said: "This sign is not in use"!
Then driving along Bank Top in Blackburn there's an A-board that proclaims "This is the original sandwich bar"!

It reminded me of that old chestnut: "If you think you've got problems, you should see your boss".
What else have people found?
On a repair shop door:
We can repair anything. (Please knock hard on the door - the bell doesn't work).
In an office kitchen:
After tea break staff should empty the teapot and stand upside down on the draining board.
In a butcher's shop:
These scales are accurate no two weighs about it.
In a jeweller's shop:
Ears pierced while you wait.
