Boxer Lennox top dog

TOP dog Lennox the boxer and his Parliamentary owner Doug Hoyle, MP, called in to Clitheroe as winners of an unusual competition.

The annual Westminster Dog of the Year contest, organised by the Ribble Valley pet food manufacturers Dugdales, attracts MPs from all over the country to enter their dogs. And Lennox took the top prize - a year's supply of Wuffitmix!

Mr Hoyle, a former MP for Nelson and Colne and now representing Warrington North, brought Lennox to the firm's premises at Bellman Mill, Salthill, for a tour of the factory - and his prize.
