MARTIN HALE Barbara and the family of the late Mr Martin Hale would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends and neighbours for their many cards of condolence, floral tributes and donations received on behalf of Cancer Research UK at this very sad time. Special thanks are extended to the doctors at Peel House Medical Centre, Mr Langton and his team and Dr Mehta and his team at Royal Blackburn Hospital for their care, to the staff at Royal Preston Hospital radiotherapy and chemo unit, the volunteer drivers, Mary Smith, Macmillan nurse, and the paramedics for their support, care and kindness. Thanks also to the staff at The Mall, Blackburn for their support and to Richard and Vivienne at Trickys for the lovely buffet, to Pete Goulding for his kind words and the staff at The Co-operative Funeralcare. Grateful thanks to Steve and Celia Varnom for being good friends and for the support shown to the family and finally to Victoria and Graham and Melissa and Irving for their constant help, support and love. The funeral was held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Accrington Crematorium.
