JOHN BARTON Peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Monday 8th January 2018, after an illness bravely fought and whilst surrounded by his loving family, John aged 90 years. A dearly loved dad of Paul, a much loved step-dad of Julie, a treasured grandad, also a dear friend and neighbour to many. John was best known as a long serving Tool Room Superintendent at Phillips (formerly Mullards). A celebration of life service will be held at 10.30am on Friday 26th January 2018 in the Barton & Hallworth Service Chapel. A horse drawn cortege will then leave from John's home at 12.30pm for a graveside service followed by interment at Great Harwood Cemetery.
