STANLEY (STAN) WHALLEY Following a brief illness, Stan passed away at St John's Hospice in Lancaster on Tuesday 12th September 2017 in his 89th year. Loving husband of Muriel (nee Baron). Beloved father of Christina and John and their families as well as proud grandfather and great grandfather to their children. A Funeral Service will be held at Lancaster and Morecambe Crematorium, Powder House Lane, Lancaster, LA2 6AD on Monday 2 October 2017 at 1.15pm. No flowers please, donations if desired to St John's Hospice, Slyne Road, Lancaster. Enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare 01524 832365

My dear friend, we lost contact this past year but, you have and will always be someone I admire and respect for everything you have done. I will miss our conversations about flying and your love for your family. It was always exciting to receive a letter or email with your latest adventures. I'm forever grateful for your friendship and our shared love for aviation. Fly high my dear friend.
