DAVIES, ELSIE With deep sadness, her family wish to announce the passing of Elsie Davies of 3 Springsands Close, Fulwood, Preston, formerly of 13 Willow Street, Darwen, on Wednesday 19th April. She was a wonderful mother to Stephen, Christine and Ian, and a larger than life and caring friend to many others. Life will seem empty without her. The funeral will take place on Friday 5th May at 3pm at Pleasington Crematorium, Blackburn, followed by a reception at the Anderton Arms, Longsands, Fulwood, Preston.
