ADA ARTHUR S.R.N. On Sunday 12 April 2015, peacefully in hospital surrounded by love and her treasured family, Ada aged 91 years of Brownhill, Blackburn. The loving wife of the late Lawrence, devoted and inspirational mother of Sylvia and Julie, a dear mother-in-law of Bernard, cherished grandmother of Gareth, Ryan, Hayley and Natalie and their partners, and proud great granny to Martha and Oakley, sister of the late Maurice Ashcroft, and sister-in-law of Pamela, and also a loyal friend and kind neighbour to many. A truly remarkable lady whose care and dedication shall always be remembered by those who knew and loved her. 'May the Angels lead you into Paradise.' A church service will be held at Trinity U.R. Church, Brownhill on Thursday 23rd April 2015 at 11.00am prior to a private cremation at Pleasington. Reposing in the Chapel of Rest, Broomfield Place, Witton.
