RITA JOHNSON Peacefully in hospital, fortified by the Rites of Holy Mother Church on Wednesday 19th November 2014, Rita aged 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond, dearest mother of Christine and the late Gail and mother-in-law of Bill. Sister and best friend of the late Margaret, devoted and proud nan of Rebecca, Dominic, Daniel and Thomas and great nana of Jack, much loved auntie of Andrew and Helen and friend to many. Reposing in the Darwen Chapel of Rest, Blackburn Road, Darwen from where the cortege will leave on Wednesday 26th November for an 11.00am Requiem Mass in the Church of Sacred Heart and St. Edward, Darwen followed by committal at Pleasington Crematorium.
