ALICE GOLDSON Peacefully on July 12, 2014, aged 90 years, Alice Goldson of Blackburn. Alice’s funeral service is to be held at Accrington Crematorium on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 am. Flowers are welcome, donations if desired in memory of Alice and her late husband Sid, will be gratefully received for The Royal British Legion. The most loving woman ever. Always putting others before yourself, even in your last few months when you'd ask "Are you alright?" every day as soon as I walked through the door. We're all alright Gran, now you can relax and rest and watch us without worry or pain. Love you so much, goodnight & God bless xxx

Alice,
What can I say, the perfect Grandma to Sharon, Janine and Heidi as well as an amazing great Grandma to Joe, Lauren, Keaton and Toby. You never judged anyone and always gave unconditional love, I am honoured to have known you Alice, my life is richer for it. As you used to say " whoever said grow old gracefully, never bloody tried it!" Well Alice you did a bloody good job of trying! I will do my best to look after your family as I promised.

We are so lucky to have had you love and care for us throughout our lives.
It comforts me to know we were there for you each day throughout your illness and that you was surrounded by love.
