MICHAEL Keane wants to see Burnley use that ‘extra edge’ they have found at Turf Moor to continue building a strong home record.

The Clarets welcome Bournemouth tomorrow looking to for a fifth home win of the campaign.

“Our form has been great at home, our fans get behind us really well,” said Keane.

“Teams don’t enjoy coming to Turf Moor, teams like Manchester City and Liverpool have come and found it difficult.

“We’ve been nice and solid at the back and dangerous going forward so we need to carry on that home form, which has been great.

“We’ve always felt at Turf Moor, with the fans behind you, we have that extra edge and I’m sure that’s the same for a lot of teams.

“Coming off a great year like last year it feels like a fortress for you, when you go so long without losing. We lost our first game of the season against Swansea but since then it’s been completely different – teams don’t enjoy coming here and they find us hard to break down.”

Keane was surprised at Bournemouth’s comeback win against Liverpool last weekend but is ready for the threats they will pose.

“We know they’ve got goals in their team, we’ve seen that before,” he said. “We’ll have to be ready for it. We know the threats they pose and the pace in their team but we’ll be ready.

“They seem like they’ve got a good team spirit and a good manager so I don’t think they’ll give in, as we’ve shown too this season. We’ve had a few late goals ourselves.

“It was a big result for them (against Liverpool) so they’ll be confident, but we’ve been good at home so we’re confident. It should be interesting.”
