Simon Eastwood 6

Made two good saves but got away with one when Conor Coady hit the post and may be disappointed with his positioning for Jacob Butterfield’s free kick

Adam Henley 6

Stuck to his task throughout and he had to as well as Huddersfield’s biggest threats came down their left flank and Rovers’ right

Darragh Lenihan 8

Up against it versus Ishmael Miller, Nahki Wells and then James Vaughan but produced an excellent display on his full debut

Tommy Spurr 7

Again showed he can do a job at centre back. Could count himself unfortunate to give away the free kick for Huddersfield’s first goal

Markus Olsson 6

The favourite to be Rovers’ player of the year had a solid afternoon but was unable to have much of an influence in the final third

Paul Taylor 6

Played his part in Rovers’ opening goal but, in the final appearance of his loan spell, at times looked like he was trying too hard to impress

Lee Williamson 6

Rovers’ most combative midfielder but also their most wasteful, he felt he was fouled in the build-up to the Terriers’ equaliser

Corry Evans 6

Saw more of the ball than any other Rovers player but apart from when he slipped in Jordan Rhodes, did no damage with it

Craig Conway 7

Made it 10 assists for the season when his corner was headed in by Jordan Rhodes. Never stopped trying to make things happen

Jordan Rhodes 8

An assist and a goal made it another happy return to the John Smith’s Stadium but he could and should have won it late on

Rudy Gestede 7

So important to Rovers in both boxes, he made it five goals in three games but was too often guilty of giving the ball away
