There is a good midweek card from Hamilton Park featuring an interesting Fillies’ handicap over the extended mile.
Dansili Dutch has been knocking on the door of late and deserves to get her head in front but she would want a thorough test at this trip and there is little guaranteed pace in the race.
A chance is taken on Delores Rocket (3.40) who hinted at a return to form at Newcastle last time and is racing from a career low mark.
She acts on soft ground and if her stamina holds she must go close for the yard of Kevin Ryan.
At Chepstow Loch Ma Naire drops back in trip for Ed Dunlop, having travelled well for a long way at Lingfield over 12f last time, but she may struggle to give 4lbs to Spectator (4.40) in the famous Mill Reef silks.
The selection has been a beaten favourite on his last two starts but he has not yet encountered the combination of soft ground and 10f and that could be the key.
At Cartmel Timesawastin (3.50) can take the Beginners’ Chase for Evan Williams who had a good winner at the track on Monday. The selection hinted at a return to form at Haydock last time coming back from a four-month lay-off and he has bits of form over the larger obstacles that would make him hard to beat in this company.
At Beverley Ererahldz (6.30) has won three of her last four starts and the handicapper could have let her in lightly with only a 2lb rise for her latest course success over 10 furlongs.
