LEAGUE high-flyers Foulridge and Barrowford take to the field this afternoon hoping to put the disappointment of seven days ago behind them.

The local rivals were due to face each other at Noyna Rock only for the weather to wipe that eagerly anticipated match out.

But they return to the field today – with Barrowford in particular facing a big game.

They welcome early leaders Ingrow St John’s to Bullholme knowing that a win will take them to the summit of Division One.

Foulridge travel over the Pennines and head to Embsay for their game.

Thornton are also away and head to Haworth Road Methodists, while Chatburn bid to maintain their perfect start to their Division Two campaign when they host Bradley.

Pendle Forest have got their Division Three campaign off to a fine start and they go to Bradford and Bingley thirds.
