Brad Savage has joined the coaching team on Friday nights at Colne Junior Badminton Club.
Brad joined the club in January 2012 as a new badminton player but rapidly progressed through the junior club to be recommended for a place in Badminton England’s Performance Centre in Bolton.
His badminton skills improved to such an extent that he now plays in the adult leagues and is a team captain for the Mens C team for Colne in the Craven and District Badminton League.
Following his successful completion of his Sports Coach UK 1st level Badminton Coaching course he now joins the team of coaches at the junior club.
Club secretary, Sharon de Maine, said: “Brad is a very welcome member of the coaching team, he has worked hard to complete the course “He travelled to Leeds to complete, Brad brings a dry sense of humour to his coaching practice, always keeping everyone entertained, he thoroughly deserved his red coaching T- shirt.”
