VOTING is now open for Blackburn Rovers supporters to choose their player of the year.
After another prolific campaign in which he has scored 24 goals in 43 league games, reigning player of the year Jordan Rhodes is sure to be in the running to retain the title.
But he could well be pushed close by the likes of midfield playmaker Tom Cairney, who has become a firm fan favourite since he signed from Hull City.
Other new arrivals have also impressed.
Left back Tommy Spurr has been a model of consistency and winger Craig Conway has been a revelation since he followed impressive targetman Rudy Gestede from Cardiff City in January.
Supporters can cast their votes via email (dagnew@rovers.co.uk), Twitter (@OneRovers) or in person at the club shops at Ewood Park or in Blackburn town centre.
Voting closes on Wednesday, April 30 and the winner will be announced at the final game of the season at home to Wigan Athletic on Saturday, May 3.
