A TRIO of Blessed Trinity students competed in the English Schools Swimming Individual Championships in Bolton.

Anna Brown and sisters Danielle and Nicole Baxter represented the Burnley school and all the girls achieved personal bests.

Year Seven pupil Danielle won gold in 100m Freestyle, finished with a silver in 50m Freestlye and she came fourth in 100m Individual Medley.

Her sister Nicole, who is in Year Nine, achieved bronze in 50m butterfly and narrowly missed out on a medal in 200m IM.

Anna, who is also a pupil at the Ormerod Road school, achieved a silver in 100m Freestyle, finished fifth in 50m Freestyle and seventh in the 100IM
