ROSSENDALE Amateurs are facing the drop from the Premier Division after a 6-0 home defeat at the hands of Tottington United.
‘Dale have lost 15 of their 21 starts this term, and with only bottom club Hesketh Casuals below them, they face a mighty struggle to avoid relegation now.
In Division Two, Accrington Amateurs saw their fading title hopes hit by a 2-1 home reverse to Wardle, but Old Blackburnians Reserves scored a valuable 1-0 win over Bury GSOB Reserves.
Accrington Amateurs crashed to a shock 6-2 defeat to Division Four bottom club Bolton Wyresdale Reserves, but Old Blackburnians A could celebrate after cruising to a 4-1 win at Horwich RMI Reserves.
In Division Seven, Old Blacks B were beaten 4-2 at home by Thornleigh B.
