BLACKBURN Rovers striker Leon Best has extended his loan stay with Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.
The out-of-favour forward, whose last appearance for Rovers was in October, will remain with the Owls until May 3 after his initial one-month loan deal expired yesterday.
Best has scored one goal in six games for Stuart Gray's side but missed a penalty in their 1-0 defeat at Wigan Athletic on Wednesday.
The Republic of Ireland international will be ineligible to play against Rovers when they travel to Hillsborough to take on the Owls on Saturday, April 12.
