73 appearances ? - its showing just 13 in 3 years on any stats I look at (inc his clubs own) - bit of propaganda here I think..

He's a defensive midfielder who can't get in the Montpellier side who are just above the relegation zone in the French 1st div.

Nothing against the guy but if he hasnt been able to force his way into the Montpellier team after being in squad for 3 years is he really going to add much to the Rovers first team.

Also, surely he has not been brought in as CD cover for Scott Dann ? - that would be a massive reduction of quality and effectiveness for the last third of the season if he has been.

I know Williamson is injured now but this deal has been lined up for the last 7-10 days so it can't be cover for him and surely we didnt need another defensive midfelder.

I hope the lad proves me wrong but I think he's more likely to be a Portugese Alex Marrow than a Chris Samba or Steven Nzonzi.

Unfortunately, deep down we all know its just yet another step towards mediocrity which started the day after the Venky family darkened our door - its been goodbye great Rovers players and hello has beens and never beens ever since.

You seem to have a lot of negative things to say about the lad but saying he's Portuguese is a bit strong JC, especially as he was born in Marseille and played for France.

WR - firstly Samba wasnt a "has been" when he arrived at Rovers, he was in Hertha reserves because he had fallen out with the coach there. Nzonzi was a youngster who's broken into the Amiens side and played every week - unlike Dabo who has made 13 apearences in 3 seasons - thats only the point I was trying to make with regard these other 2 Rovers giants (who your masters "Venky scum" sold off and replaced with inferior replacements)..

Secondly I am neither a troll or a racist - I just don't like Venkys because they've ruined BRFC. Unlike you who seem to worship at Mrs D's fanny.and you slag off any Rovers fan who ever has the cheek to have a go at Venkys - why do you worship them ?? - I really don't understand why you don't think that you can't be a Rovers fan but that hates our owners? - you defend Venkys EVERYTIME someone has a go at them yet they have destroyed the club you support and love.

Sorry Greenscreener - I'm not trying to have a personal go at the lad but I am just trying to point out certain facts that the paper seemed to ignore -

1 - He has made only 13 appearances in 3 seasons.

2 - He is a defensive midfielder.

3 - He can't break into a bottom(ish) table small team in the French 1st div.

Also, sorry to mislead you on the "Portuguese" front - my fault, I wasnt trying to say he was Portuguese - I meant to say he's more likely (in my opinion) by like the 6 Portuguese flops we signed (& a flop like Alex Marrow) than great sucesses like the Zonz or Samba.

And I hope he does prove me wrong - we need all the good players we can get - I just don't think his track record points in that direction - only time will tell.
