  • Sean Dyche expecting quiet deadline day
  • Ian Dunbavin extends his loan from Accrington Stanley to Chesterfield until summer

11:02pm

No more business for Rovers on the final day of the January transfer window. Scott Dann out; Craig Conway in.

Same applies to Burnley and Accrington Stanley.

See you on August 31!

10:50pm

10 minutes to go - and would be very, very surprising if any happens with our clubs now.

10:43pm

Incoming Leeds owner Massimo Cellino believed to have blocked Luke Varney's transfer to Rovers.

10:40pm

News coming in from Burnley that they are indeed not expecting any activity in the final few minutes of the transfer window.

Just the one permanent signing for the high-flying Clarets with Ashley Barnes joining from Brighton.

10:35pm

During this month Rovers have sold, released or loaned out 16 players - the latest, and most probably last, being skipper Scott Dann.

10:28pm

If there is no business at Rovers before the window slams shut at 11pm, they will have made three permanent signings this month - Tom Cairney, Rudy Gestede and Craig Conway - and one loan signing - Bryan Dabo.

10:07pm

Here's Scott Dann after the Blackburn Rovers skipper completed his move to Crystal Palace...

"It's been a long day and a long transfer window with a lot of speculation, so it's nice to finally put pen to paper and get it done.

"I'm looking forward to the next three-and-a-half years.

"Any professional footballer will tell you that they want to be in the Premier League.

"It's something I've done before and really enjoyed and having the opportunity to come and play here for the next couple of years, do well and help the team - it's something I really wanted to do and I'm glad that it's all gone through."

9:57pm

Gary Bowyer did say earlier today if Scott Dann went he would look when the loan window reopens next Saturday for centre-back cover.

9:56pm

Looks like that could be it in terms of incomings and outgoings at Rovers. That said, there is still 64 minutes to go.

8:59pm

Blackburn Rovers captain Scott Dann has signed for Crystal Palace.

8:50pm

Blackburn Rovers captain Scott Dann is close to signing for Crystal Palace. He will become the 16th player to leave Rovers during this month.

8:44pm

DONE DEAL

Liverpool ladies have signed Blackburn Rovers ladies goalkeeper  Gemma Jackson.

The move to the current league champions reunites the Wales Under 19 international with former Rovers boss Scott Rogers.

8:34pm

Scott Dann deal from Blackburn Rovers to Crystal Palace nearing conclusion according to former Rovers midfielder Danny Murphy who is quoted as saying on Twitter: "I've just had a text confirming Scotty Dann has signed for Crystal Palace."

No official word from either club yet but we will bring you all the news as soon as it happens.

8:30pm

Sky Sports News reporters getting free pizza outside the clubs they are covering. No delivery to Lancashire Telegraph office as yet . . .

8:15pm

Accrington Stanley also not expecting to bring in any more players during the final few hours of the window.

The club have extended the loan spell of Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli

8:02pm

All quiet at Turf Moor and Burnley. No more deals expected to be done tonight.

7:56pm

Reports emerging that Leeds have sacked manager Brian McDermott which will only complicate Blackburn Rovers' chances of signing Luke Varney before the window closes at 11pm.

7:17pm

Blackburn Rovers have not had any bids for striker Jordan Rhodes, despite plenty of speculation linking the Scotland striker with a move.

QPR were one of the clubs reported to be interested but their chairman Tony Fernandes took to Twitter to clarify the club's position.

His tweet read: no chance of Jordan Rhodes guys. Never been on our radar First window we haven't bought anyone thought there are a few hours left

7:14pm

Ross McCormack has said he is happy to stay at Leeds and expects to be there until the end of the season.

That could help Blackburn Rovers in their pursuit of McCormack's team-mate Luke Varney.

7:12pm

Rovers still interested in Leeds striker Luke Varney but deal being held up by off-field takeover talk at Elland Road.

It looks as though Ross McCormack is staying at Leeds despite interest from Premier League clubs which could mean the Yorkshire side would be willing to let the striker move to Ewood Park.

6:56pm

Still no update on Scott Dann's proposed move to Crystal Palace. The Blackburn Rovers captain is in London for talks.

6:18pm

Blackburn Rovers new signing Craig Conway spoke to the Telegraph today.

Full interview in tomorrow's paper with the midfielder but here's a taster.

Conway said: "I’m just delighted to be here. I came here last night and met the manager and saw the facilities and I was really impressed, so I'm really happy to be here."

Rovers are still waiting for international clearance for the 28-year-old and if it comes through he could make his debut in tomorrow's clash with Blackpool

6:09pm

Blackburn Rovers were casting an eye over Leicester striker Martyn Waghorn but he has joined Championship rivals Wigan Athletic on loan until the end of the season

6:06pm

No more transfer news expected at Turf Moor tonight as the players prepare for tomorrow's game with QPR

5:34pm

Crystal Palace are targeting Blackburn Rovers out-of-favour striker Leon Best.

The Eagles are in talks to sign Rovers captain Scott Dann and Tony Pulis is also keen on bringing Best to Selhurst Park.

BLACKBURN Rovers boss Gary Bowyer says the clubs interested in signing his skipper Scott Dann have yet to meet his asking price.

Lancashire Telegraph: Scott Dann

Crystal Palace have long been linked with a move for Dann and Norwich City have reportedly joined the chase for the centre back although those reports were yesterday denied by Canaries manager Chris Hughton.

Bowyer, meanwhile, said it would be ‘wrong’ to discuss any bids that may have been made.

But he did say: “There are clubs interested in Scott Dann.

“But until they meet the valuation that the club has got on him, and until that is put in writing to the club, it is pure speculation.”
