Today’s photograph from the Lancashire Telegraph archives shows part of the bar area at the new Roxy nightclub in Darwen which was preparing for the Christmas rush in December 1988.
Chrome and neon were the order of the day with the dancefloor boasting the latest hi-tech lighting rig.
