A NINE-YEAR-OLD girl who suffers from a rare kidney disorder had her dream come true after she got to sing at Wembley stadium alongside pop star Nicole Scherzinger.

Ella Chadwick has battled congenital nephrotic syndrome since she was a baby and, after 38 operations, two years ago received a kidney from her grandma.

Ella, from Whitworth, is a member of the Rays of Sunshine Wish Choir, who got to sing at the SSE Arena in Wembley with X Factor judge Nicole on Monday.

The choir performed Ain’t no Mountain High Enough at the concert which also featured Fleur East, Conor Maynard, Louisa Johnson, Lawson and James TW.

The event was hosted by Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity which grants wishes to children living with life-limiting illness.

Jane Sharpe, CEO, said: “The event was more sensational than we could have ever hoped.

“Looking out onto the audience and seeing so many of our wish families enjoying the show certainly made all the hard work worthwhile. We are so grateful to each and every one of the artists for giving up their time to perform and to SSE for supporting the event and making it possible for us to allow so many of our beneficiaries to attend.”

Ella is no stranger to performing on stage having sung Don’t Stop Believin’ for Simon Cowell during a visit to see the X Factor.
