AN 11-year-old boy suffered a broken leg after being hit by a car in Burnley while riding a scooter.
Police officers were called to the scene in Clive Street at around 2pm on Saturday.

The boy was riding his scooter in the direction of Burleigh Street when he crossed the road and collided with a silver Honda Civic being driven by a 27-year-old woman.
The boy suffered a double fracture and was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital by air ambulance for treatment.
The road was closed for more than two hours while accident investigators attended the scene.
Sgt Finn Quainton, of Lancashire Police, said: "We are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old boy was injured following a collision in Burnley.
"We would be particularly keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
"If you have any information which can help us, contact police on 101 quoting log reference 0871 of June 25."
