DETAILS of payments made by Darwen Town Council made in June have been revealed by deputy chairman Pete Hollings.
Authorised outgoings included £464.09 for its clerk Rebecca Hay’s salary and expenses and £24.72 to the Lancashire County Council as its contribution to her pension.

- £1,170 to Bright Lites for Darwen Live lighting.
- £282 to Slater’s Inkshop for pedal car posters.
- £240 to Martin Dutton, payment as dance festival, adjudicator.
- £345 to Fylde Executive Cars for the Spitfire display.
- £7,200 to Lancashire Constabulary towards policing Darwen Live.
- £1,750 to Salute for Darwen Live and Grand Prix security.
- £350 to Harrison Couriers for Darwen Live delivery of barriers.
- £250 to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs for PAYE taxation.
- £307.35 towards Darwen Dance Festival classes.
Cllr Hollins said the council received a £5,220 cheque repayment.
