A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was sexually assaulted in Great Harwood.
The incident took place at around 5pm on Saturday when the victim was approached by a man in Town Hall Street.

The attacker is believed to have started a conversation with her before touching her bottom.
He then made off on foot along Blackburn Road in the direction of Rishton. The offender was described as a white man, aged between 40 and 50, and approximately 5ft 7in tall.
He had very short, balding grey hair and is thought to have been wearing a grey or black tracksuit top with a high visibility vest over the top.
He also wore dark tracksuit bottoms and dark trainers. Det Const David Gill said: “This was a distressing incident for this young girl and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward. I would ask anyone who may have any information to contact us.”
