PEOPLE were able to catch a glimpse of the luxurious gardens of one of East Lancashire’s grandest stately homes over the weekend.
Downham Hall hosted the event on Saturday and Sunday in aid of Downham Village Hall and ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
There was a special display of artefacts and memorabilia as part of a commemoration of the outbreak of the First World War.
There was also music from Clitheroe Town Band, Barnoldswick Brass Band and the Lancashire Army Cadet Force Corps of Drums, as well as Clitheroe Grand Choir, the Ardenettes and a jazz ensemble.
