FOOTBALL-mad residents across East Lancashire are putting out the bunting to support England in the World Cup.

Residents in Stewart Street, in the shadow of Ewood Park, Blackburn, are among those who have put their allegiance to Rovers to one side to concentrate on the national team.

Dozens of flags have been put up on houses, and bunting has been hung across the street as residents, such as Derek Rhodes and Ray Howarth, get into the World Cup spirit.

They have joined many others across the area in getting out the St George’s crosses, like residents in Queen Victoria Road, Burnley, who have also put up flags.
