A 12-YEAR-OLD girl has been knocked down in Rising Bridge.
The crash happened in Blackburn Road around 4.30 this afternoon.
Police have closed the road to allow ambulance crews to treat the patient, who is suffering from facial and knee injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: “We received a call from the ambulance service. It was a report of a road traffic collision involving a 12-year-old-girl who had been knocked over.
“The road has been closed.”
