PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson is supporting a leading charity in calling for greater efforts to ensure high standards of care are experienced by all breast cancer patients.

According to a Breast Cancer Campaign report attempts to improve the standard of care experienced by thousands of breast cancer patients are in danger of not being delivered because of a lack of monitoring and reporting.

Mr Stephenson said: “With 50,000 people diagnosed every year, breast cancer is the UK’s most common cancer.

“I want to see the breast cancer quality standard being adhered to in Pendle to ensure high-quality care is being delivered for my constituents and their families.”
