THE Sophie Lancaster Foundation have been ‘overwhelmed’ by the response to a new BBC Radio 4 play about the trial of the Haslingden gap year student’s murderers.
Kate Conboy-Greenwood, campaign manager of the anti-prejudice organisation set up in memory of Sophie Lancaster, who was attacked in Bacup in 2007, said: “Thank everyone who listened to Porcelain on Monday, and especially for sharing your kind, thoughtful and supportive messages and your generous donations in Sophie's memory."
