CLITHEROE’s annual Antiquarian and Out-Of-Print Bookfair will be held on Sunday.
The event will be staged at the St Mary's Centre in Church Street from 10am to 4.30pm.
Specialist dealers in a range of fields, including antiquarian, fine bindings and children’s books, will be on hand.
Organiser Neil Summersgill, from antiquarian trade association PBFA, said: “Our members are experts in a wide variety of areas and the Clitheroe fair will be a chance for people to bring along books and manuscripts for a free valuation by specialists.
“The internet might still be handy for buying and selling books but people like the reassurance of dealing with sellers face-to-face. We keep hearing about the impending demise of books, but it is a fact that the best books are a shrewd investment.”
