Edinburgh Festival hit on way to Pendle

Lancashire Telegraph: Edinburgh Festival Edinburgh Festival

A LEADING family show from the Edinburgh Festival is set to be staged in Pendle early next month.

Duck Egg Theatre will bring ‘Leave Hitler To Me Lad’ to the Rainhall Centre in Barnoldswick on Friday, March 7.

Part of the Spot-on Rural Touring Programme, the play centres on wartime boarder Brian’s lonely life at a residential school.

His friends slowly drift home one by one, to be reunited with their families, and Brian is left waiting for the father he has idolised throughout the conflict.

Tickets for the show, at 7pm, are £6 for adults and £4 for concessions and can be reserved by calling 01282 818250.
