The pub’s Kelly and Sandra
THE Ranken Arms in Queen Street, Hoddlesden, will host a ‘good times’ disco next Friday with Blackburn DJ Tony Corless.
It follows two successful disco nights over Christmas and New Year in which DJs from Blackpool provided the entertainment.
Kelly Sutherland, 19, who runs the pub alongside mum Sandra Cozens, said: “Our regulars are enjoying the variety of music we are featuring and this disco will be the first we have on a Friday night.
"We are hoping to attract people from all the satellite villages around Hoddlesden, as well as the growing number from Darwen and Blackburn who have discovered we are back on the entertainment map.”
Admission is free and the music starts from 8.30pm.
