A MAN was headbutted in an unprovoked attack during a night out in Haslingden.
The 20-year-old was waiting to use the urinals in the toilets of The Green Squirrel Pub in Manchester Road when another man assaulted him, causing the skin on his skull to split badly.
The offender was described as being around 28-years-old with short dark brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a brightly-coloured chequered shirt.
PC Amy Tattersall, of Burnley CID, said: “The attack was totally unprovoked and left the victim requiring hospital treatment.
“If anybody has any information about this incident or recognises the man in the CCTV then I would urge them to contact Lancashire Police on 101.”
