PEEL Lions have brought festive cheer to Ramsbottom and already raised more than £1,000 for good causes.
The fundraising group has held its annual Santa’s Street Collection since December 11.
It was collecting in Tottington taking in Turton Road, Woodstock Drive, and Claybank Drive.
It also collected with a sleigh at Tesco, in Ramsbottom, on Saturday and Sunday, Sean Hill, of Peel Lions, says the group hopes to have raised more than £2,000 by the end of Sunday, adding: “We would like to thank the people of Ramsbottom.”
