Police have charged two teenagers over the theft of a motorbike which was alleged to have been stolen from a house in Chorley.

Officers were called following reports that a bike had been taken from a property on Buckshaw Village between 9pm and 2am on Thursday (25 April) and Friday (26 April).

On Friday, following a tip off, officers found the motorbike at a property in Preston and two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.

Two 15-year-old boys, one from Chorley and one from Preston, have since been charged with unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.  Both will appear at Preston Youth Court on 14 May.
